This planning guidebook has been developed to support the strategic delivery of more diverse and affordable housing options across Maitland — helping to ensure that people at all stages of life can find a place to call home.

With 90 per cent of new development currently occurring in greenfield areas on the city’s fringes, the guide aims to balance this by supporting more housing choice around our centres and public transport links.

Community input will now be reviewed and considered as we finalise the guide.
