The Australian Liveability Census provides a unique opportunity for our community to have their say on the issues that matter most in their local neighbourhood. Whether it's more shops, parking, access to green spaces, or improving public safety, community voices will help guide decision making and contribute to national research regarding liveability.

In 2023, Place Score collected over 50,000 responses from across Australia, surpassing the 2021 record of 32,000 responses.

Maitland's, along with Australia's number one for 2023 was Elements of the Natural Environment.
