Youth Week is a celebration of young people and the contributions they make to our communities. For young people it is an opportunity to share ideas, have your voices heard, and most importantly participate in fun live events that celebrate you!

Youth Week 2025 will be held from Wednesday 9 April to Thursday 17 April 2025, with the theme: "I am... We are the future, and the future is now!"

We have developed an exciting program of events, guided by feedback from our local youth community. The full program of events is now available, featuring a variety of exciting events and activities happening at Council’s libraries, Maitland Regional Art Gallery, Maitland Aquatic Centre, and our skate parks.

Council is keen to hear from people who attend an event during the 2025 Maitland Youth Week. Your feedback is important to us and will directly help to shape future planning for Seniors Festival 2026.
