Thank you for your input

Thank you for providing feedback about the future of Maitland's playspaces. The survey is now closed, and we are analysing your responses and preparing a final report, which will be submitted to Council and then placed on public exhibition for your review.

Help us improve our state of play

In Maitland, there are two types of playspacesthe smaller localversion for younger children and the larger district version which provides for all abilities and ages where practical.

In order to provide sufficient and safe playspace instrastructure that is up to date with current trends, an independent audit was conducted in 2023 to assess the quality and distribution of playspaces across the Maitland LGA.

Following the completion of the independent audit, we are now seeking community input to inform the future of our playspace development.

In the following survey we will be asking you a range of questions to determine what you need and want from a playspace, including what you consider a reasonable distance to travel and whether you would rather see more local or district playspaces.

If you would like assistance completing the survey, please email community.team@maitland.nsw.gov.au or call us on 02 4934 9700.
