Updates on Thornton Skate Park

We have officially taken the wraps off the new Thornton Skate Park on Taylor Avenue. Designed in partnership with the community, the new $600,000 facility caters to a range of skill levels, featuring a halfpipe with spine and box jump, a kinked floating ledge, vert wall, flat banks, rails and more. Council has also completed tidy-up works on the adjoining playspace and basketball court for the community to enjoy.
